This week we have part two of our interview with Anne Franklin of Clintons for McCain. She says they want Barack Obama to lose this election, in order to clear the way for Hillary Clinton next time. They're working overtime to defeat Obama in November.

In Blog News ths week take a look at the events arising from Obama's trip to the Middle East and Europe. If you want to see the little reported truth of who was on the stage before Obama in Berlin, take a look at Spiegel Online. I disucss the me me me of Obama's prayer. Oh dear. More on that at Atlas Shrugs.

The story of the United Church of Canada and its hosting of yet another loony left conference can be found on Kathy Shaidle's site.

Other stories covered include an advert in favor of Global Warming from Australia and the main stream media being in the tank for Obama.

This week we spoke to Evan Sayet about the now regular "Right to Laugh" event to be held at the Laugh Factory in LA. More details about that here.

As another antidote to the impression that Europeans, especially Germans, are ga-ga over Obama, read this recent op-ed piece in The New York Times:

Apparently, Europeans are also turned off by what they see as Obama's demagogery and naiveté.

I have to confess that I'll be voting for Obama in November, though with little enthusiasm. I just think he's our one chance to take another crack at establishing a national health insurance plan. As for foreign affairs, well, he's no genius. But short of invading more countries, there's little harm an individual president can do, trapped as any president will be by advisors, polls, national interests, and circumstances. And I don't think that John McCain is as moderate as he's made out to be. That's a matter of perception, I suppose. He's voted with the Republican Party an overwhelming large proportion of the time. Too bad John Edwards isn't running.

Enough already with Anne Franklin. She's a vacuos twit in charge of a cult obsessed with HRC. To take this woman seriously is an assault on seriousness.

Joanne,

John Edwards is running.   Unfortunately, he's running from the National Enquirer.
