In the second part of his interview he continues where he left off discussing his prosecutions in Canada taking in no go areas in Britain and plenty of other topics on the way.

If you don't already have his book, America Alone, may we thoroughly recommend it and that you pass some time looking at his website. You can find part one here.

Great show, particularly liked Tom's skit on that idiot Archbishop, great analogy.

Is it even theoretically possible for SNN that Islamism not be a material fact in a story involving someone of Muslim faith?

 Not so far!

That's funny Rick, maybe you didn't hear the part of the story which specifically said the hijacking appears to be an act of random nuttiness rather than terrorism.

My point, and I do have one, is that the news media almost univeraally deleted any references to the perpetrator's Muslim background, without waiting to see if there was a religious motivation to the stabbing of pilots on a passenger aircraft by a Muslim woman.

Which you'd have to admit, would be on any sane persons list of motives to explore under similar circumstances.

The same goes for the murders of Muslim women by men in their family.

Do you want the automatically assume, before the facts are in, that it couldn't possibly be an honour killing, because that would challenge our PC view of the world?

The point was aimed at the media's relexive covering up of any factor which might link Islam to terrorism, not the woman, who indeed appears to have as many functining brain cells as an average Green Party MP.

Oh, and as for me trying to help get you out of jail in the US for visa violations, don't mention it.

Oh.

You didn't...

I think I'm beginning to understand...

In the brief reporting time between knowing there was a story, and knowing the full facts of the story, the media "deleted" the avaliable extrapolation of citing Muslim terrorism from the list of possible knee-jerk sensationalist reporting that they might otherwise have endulged during this intermissionary period.

What a more journalistically ethical gaggle would have done is to use that early time of information-gathering to draw some early conclusions. And those conclusions would inevitabally zero in on a 911 connection, if only the main stream media weren't so bent! The bastards.

A few camera clicks latter they'd have had to retract, as the facts came in. But for that brief moment between asking a question and getting an answer a golden oportunity was missed to hammer Muslims some more. Right?

Nah.

Even if they knew she was Somali, and even if they knew for a fact she was Muslim, when is it proper to report that as a salient detail? That is a journalistic ethics question which SNN has misjudged this week.

I'm in your debt for aiding the rescue effort. Going to have to get me out of a pretty big jail, though, before I quit calling the play as I see it.

"The point was aimed at the media's relexive covering up of any factor which might link Islam to terrorism, not the woman, who indeed appears to have as many functining brain cells as an average Green Party MP."

Come on Tom, that's an unfair, stupid and ignorant point of view. We all know that the Green Party don't have any MPs ;). Unless they do in Australia, in which case you have my commiserations.

Love you show though, as a relatively new listener, it's so refreshing to hear people discuss issues head on and without fear of upsetting people.

Bugger, that should say "love your show", not "love you show". I'm not declaring my undying love to Tom Paine, although as a fellow former leftie, I sometimes feel a connection in your interviews. The "left" increasingly remind me of the right who I used to dispise so much, ie, isoloationist and unprepared to attack the things that you actually believe in.

Rick we've given you a top notch blog that you've flown into the ground like a lead brick and we're not telling you what to write on that (if we were it might be still semi-functional). Coming here and offering Tom your - what for the sake of of argument we'll call your "wit" and advice isn't really on Tom's must have list. Its more like somewhere between rectal cancer and an Mormans thinking someone being Jewish is a challenge.

So what say you just take a little time out and stop being a complete dick on our other sites as well the one we've already seen turned in the living dead of blogs.

Suggest some remedial classes in manners and calendar interpretation.

As always, you're welcome.

And entirely as aside the NZ media were fucking instantanious to get a sound bite from the scuffed knuckle mouth breather neigbour saying she WASN'T a Muslim when in fact she is. Yet we're still waiting on that retraction.

Rick for Archbishop!

Okayokay. I didn't mean to upset you both so much.

Future concerns to be expressed in private email. And more politely.

And now that I'm not hitching around the Anglosphere I shall attempt to give more consideration to your legacy.

McCain is the lesser evil, eh?

Why vote for the lesser evil?  Cuthulhu for President.
